Youth Worker

Axcis are looking for a youth worker for a role within a Liverpool based specialist provision. The school itself caters for KS3 / 4 students that have additional needs and challenging behaviours including; autism, ADHD, ODD, learning difficulties and SEMH needs. The pupils who attend this school can no longer remain in mainstream education and often require 1:1 support or extra assistance during lessons. This would be a full time, long term position with a high potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. The school is smaller than average and currently has around 60 pupils on roll. All of the students require 1:1 support and the school are looking for a candidate with experience supporting people that have additional needs or challenging behaviours. The role will start as soon as possible on a long term basis. The school hours are 8.30am – 4.00pm Monday – Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.
