Description

As a Youth Peer Advocate, you will amplify the youth's voices and choices. You will provide support and advocacy for young people enrolled in the OMH Community Residence: Miriam House and the Residential Treatment Facility. You will work parallel to the Family Peer Advocate and support the youth in their recovery to return to their home communities.

You will work with youth in many settings which include: home, school, and community. You will inspire hope and offer support to the youth and help communicate with others, advocate for their needs, build on strengths to achieve their goals, provide role modeling and coaching and self-care.
