Job Description
EXTERNAL VACANCY – XRAY/CASTING TECHNICIAN
The Company is looking for an energetic analytical individual who can manage the daily output and scrap performance in conjunction with normal Foundry shift requirements.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Ensure that daily production targets with respect to Dimo output, scrap and Foundry related reworks are achieved. Resources are utilised effectively and efficiently to achieve Company targets. Analyse daily performance with respect to scrap and reworks, take necessary action and implement or provide suggestion to eliminate or reduce the defect. Assist with the Sampling of all new dies to Customer specification and ensure 100% compliance to test requirements as indicated by each Customer. Active involvement in all Foundry related projects, including 5 S and/or Kaizen related projects to improve output, reduce scrap or costs within the department and throughout the Company.
