Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Functions as a clinical expert consultant in the prevention and management of pressure/vascular ulcers, surgical wounds and abnormal skin conditionsServes as a consultant in the management of patients with urinary and fecal incontinence to prevent skin related problemsParticipates in and uses evidence-based research to identify strategies for improving nursing practiceDevelops and monitors standards of care and assists in the formation of and evaluation of procedures, protocols and policies related to skin care and pressure ulcer preventionIdentifies staff educational needs through close collaboration with the Healthcare TeamConducts formal and informal educational programsProvides clinical mentorship by establishing re...
