Workshop Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair activities for manufacturing plant equipment.
• Operate workshop machinery including strong lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines safely and efficiently.
• Repair damaged mechanical components such as strong shafts, bushes, sleeves, and other fabricated parts during equipment breakdowns.
• Carry out machining, fitting, and fabrication work as per maintenance requirements.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications where required.
• Inspect repaired components to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
• Maintain workshop tools, machinery, and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow company safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and maintenance best practices.
