Job Description
Requirement for a Workshop assistant / Engineering assistant on a 4-week contract starting week commencing 29/06/2026 or 06/07/2026. Will be required to support day-to-day operations within the workshop. General Labouring duties, tidying the site. moving materials, assisting trades, and preparing orders for collection and delivery to sites. Some elements of using power tools must be comfortable using power drills, angle grinders, etc. Experience with basic fabrication, cutting metal, etc., would be preferred. Will be required to have 5-point PPE.
Working hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. 45 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Good time keeping and reliable.
- Full 5-point PPE.
- Able to reliably commute to the Fareham workshop every day.
