Essential Duties
Plans, assigns and directs work for associates.
May participate in the interviewing and hiring processes.
Ensures on the job training is accomplished/completed as required.
Writes and administers performance reviews and disciplinary notices to associates as required; addresses employee issues and resolves problems.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's guidelines, procedures and policies plus applicable laws; exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
Fully aware of skill level of all subordinates and develops training plans to enhance individual skill sets and overall factory flexibility and efficiency.
Implements activities in production unit(s) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives.
Reviews and prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, efficiency, material supply and personnel resources.
