Job Description
GCI's Winter Caretaker is a seasonal position that provides GCI’s Agulowak Retreat with an onsite presence throughout the winter months when the Retreat is not in operation. Responsible for maintaining the general security and well-being of company facilities located on the Agulowak River in Alaska.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT ALL LEVELS:
+ Provide security for the property, buildings, equipment, and supplies through a continuous onsite presence.
+ Conduct checks of buildings and surrounding areas to help ensure facilities remain secure, protected, and in good condition throughout the winter season.
+ Monitor the site for unauthorized access, signs of damage, safety concerns, or unusual activity, and notify Retreat management immediately of any urgent issues or incidents.
