Wind Specialist

The position falls under CleanCurrent Renewable Energy Inc. (CREI).

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise throughout the lifecycle of wind energy projects, from opportunity screening and wind resource assessment through engineering development, permitting support, construction, and commissioning. He will also ensure projects are technically viable, compliant with regulatory and grid requirements, and implemented according to industry standards and company guidelines

The Role

• Conducts preliminary technical assessments of wind energy opportunities
• Evaluates site conditions including wind resource potential, terrain, land suitability, grid proximity, and access constraints
• Supports identification of optimal project configurations including turbine selection and preliminary capacity sizing
• Supports wind resource measurement campaigns including met mast or LiDAR planning and data analysis
