Job Description
The Junior Welding Specialist is responsible for supporting activities related to welder qualifications, skills management and the coordination of testing with the various authorities. More specifically, you will: Manage welders’ qualification cards in the system and ensure qualifications are kept up to date. Track expiration dates and plan required renewals. Coordinate and schedule qualification tests with external organizations (CWB, Lloyd’s, etc.). Prepare the required documentation for testing and ensure compliance. Work with Human Resources to track skills and training needs. Learn and apply basic welding concepts, processes, and standards. Interpret drawings, codes, and procedures, with guidance as required.
