Welder/Fabricator for the Defence Sector x2

Location: Rotherham, Yorkshire
Hours: Roating 3 Shfits: Mornings (6am-2pm), Afternoons (2pm-10pm), Nights (10pm -6am)
Salary: £20.56 per hour

Main Purpose of Job

Due to a surge in Defence contracts, MTL Advanced are on a recruitment drive for a number of experienced and highly skilled Welders to join our defence operations. You will be joining our skilled team to perform welding activities on armoured products and vehicles. The majority of the work will be MIG welding where your dexterity and hand-eye coordination will help to make welds clean and precise.

Key Objectives and Duties

Perform welding activities on carbon steel, armour steel, aluminium

Weld various joint configurations in all positions

Ensure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity and WPS requirements
