Job Description
The Welder / Fitter will be responsible for manufacturing fire trucks within a custom shop setting. This role includes the fabrication, layout/fitting, and welding of custom equipment from the ground up.
1st shift - 5:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Thursday, optional overtime available on Fridays.
Job Responsibilities:
• MIG or TIG Welding on stainless steel and aluminum materials
• Perform welding (AWS 3G/4G) according to blueprints
• Fabricate components from raw stock, as needed
• Read and follow detailed operator instructions, installation drawings, blueprints, etc.
• Self-check work and inspect prior processes
• Use hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
