Weekend Anchor/Reporter

A great communicator with a nose for news who can engage our audience with proper urgency. That’s what we’re looking for in our next weekend anchor. This is a working anchor job, not sitting around and reading scripts, you’ll need to make phone calls, help write, and collaborate with the producer and desk on coverage. When you’re not anchoring, you’re reporting. The right candidate will come to story meetings with actionable ideas, stories you come up with through your network of sources. Job description:

+ Saturday and Sunday 6 &10pm anchor, MMJ three days a week

+ Help on weekends working with on call manager making editorial decisions

+ Write anchor pkgs on weekends when needed
