Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

The Opportunity

BluMetric is looking for a full‑time Water / Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator who will be responsible for operating various filtering and chemical treatment processes and maintaining the water and wastewater treatment plant in accordance with federal, provincial/territorial, and municipal legislation, policies, and standards. The candidate will also troubleshoot and adjust the wastewater treatment processes as required. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team working on a large‑scale project in Yellowknife.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor computerized control systems and related equipment in chemical dosing and reactor tanks and water filtration clarifier to regulate the treatment and distribution of mine effluent.
• Complete daily operations monitoring sheets, including parameters to be measured and pH (typical values are between 6.5 and 9), turbidity, and flow.
