Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor

Summary The Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (VRCs) are positions within the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Buffalo Regional Office. One VRC will be assigned to the VetSuccess On Campus (VSOC) program, located at a partnering school campus in Syracuse, NY/Syracuse University. The other VRC position will be assigned to the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) at a partnering military installation at Fort Drum, NY. Responsibilities Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (VRCs) provide and coordinate a wide range of rehabilitation, counseling, and case management services to disabled veterans and other eligible individuals. The purpose, objectives, services, and outcomes are developed by the VRC during the evaluation.
