Job Description
Position Summary
A branch veterinary surgeon position at our Kennington first‑opinion practice, located in South London. The clinic is fast‑paced with a busy GP caseload.
Schedule: 30–40 hours per week with flexibility. Full‑time arrangements involve alternating Mondays and Fridays off, a 1:4 branch Saturday and a 1:10 hospital Sunday rotation. Rota to 1–2 bank holidays per year at Stone Lion Hospital. No on‑call requirements.
Salary: £45,000 – £67,000 per annum (full‑time based on 40 hours per week), commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out consultations, thoroughly examining all pets presented and making management and treatment recommendations that are evidence‑based and in accordance with GVG protocols.
