CapWest is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator in Vancouver for exciting development projects. Utilize your excavation expertise and heavy machinery skills in this full time role. As a vital member of our team, you will oversee major construction tasks in locations like Tsawwassen, South Cambie, or Pitt Meadows.

Key Responsibilities

• Strip and load materials using excavators
• Grade and compact soil with bulldozers and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on machinery
• Utilize 2-way radios for communication
• Assist with site labor as needed

Requirements

• Grade 12 education minimum
• 3+ years of experience in civil heavy equipment operation
• Valid BC driver’s license
• Understanding of grading concepts and soil differentiation
• Ability to self-manage and plan work
