The Best Connection are working closely with our international client to source additionalVan (Cat B) Delivery Drivers for their Carlisle office.
Please note that the positions will be available on an ad-hoc as well as long term basis.
The role:
- Safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle (generally a long wheel base)
- Vehicle provided
- Use of a scanning device (training given)
- Parcel delivery and collection
- The work is multi-drop ofaround 40 deliveries / collectionsper day across the North.
- Deliveries to business and domestic customers
The candidate:
- B licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements
- Minimum of 6 months driving experience
- 5 years of checkable work history
- A DBS check will be carried out for successful candidates
- Excellent customer service skills
