Valuer, residential

The role

is varied and will cover a wide range of disciplines including Red Book valuations (eg. for tax purposes), portfolio valuations, the valuation and negotiation of claims under the Leasehold Reform Act, Landlord and Tenant including rent registrations under the Rent Act 1977, and asset management.

Responsibilities

Ability to prepare detailed and concise valuation reports

Comfortable discussing and explaining report findings to clients

Organisation and time management skills with ability to multitask advising various clients on different instructions at the same time

Detailed understanding of the comparable, investment and residual methods of valuations

Strong understanding of the central London residential property market

Internal networking seeking to introduce other service lines to existing clients and their customers

Attending external events and utilising professional network to generate new busi...
