Alvéole seeks an Urban Beekeeper to engage communities with nature in the Lethbridge area. Share your beekeeping expertise while maintaining hives, facilitating workshops, and promoting biodiversity.
As a 1099 contractor with Alvéole, your journey will focus on supporting colony health and conducting educational sessions. You'll be responsible for hive management on a flexible schedule, installing hives, performing inspections, and overseeing honey harvest while sharing bee knowledge with eager audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain honey bee hives on a service cycle
• Install new hives and related equipment
• Conduct routine hive inspections and maintenance
• Manage honey harvest and product delivery
