Job Description
JOB TITLE: Upholsterer DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing FLSA STATUS: NonExempt (Hourly) REPORTS TO: Upholstery Supervisor / Upholstery Leads SUMMARY: The Upholsterer is responsible for securing fabric and leather to wood frames using hand tools and pneumatic staplers in a climatecontrolled environment. This position involves continuous standing and requires flexibility for overtime based on production demands. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Secure fabric and leather to frames using staple guns, air rackets, and drills. Match materials with corresponding frames and upholster all frame components. Follow product specifications on traveler documents, including medallions, leg colors, welting, brass tacks, springs, webbing, and additional order details. Correct crooked seams and smooth out staple bumps. Visually inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.
