Job Description

Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Manager, Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the Unit Clerk provides support and care to the unit, to patients, and to the health care team through the provision of performing clerical, receptionist, and related duties as directed.

Experience
Recent related experience in a health care setting (in the last 4 years) required.
Computer experience required (i.e. Microsoft Office).
Experience with Accuro is preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Grade 12 education or equivalent.
Health Unit Clerk certificate from a recognized college/educational institution required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
