Job Description
Perform underwriting assessments for high net worth cases and non-HNW cases, within assigned authority and support daily operational tasks. Provide underwriting-related support for the ad-hoc tasks that were assigned.
Responsibilities- Underwrite large sum assured applications (formal and preliminary) and communicate decision to intermediaries within agreed TAT with competitive underwriting decision and minimal requirement(s) calling.
- Ensure cases are underwritten within the agreed TAT.
- Review complex appeal cases and coach underwriters for large sum assured cases underwriting.
- Liaise with reinsurers on referral cases that are beyond local authority.
- Resolve enquiries and issues with channel management.
- Handle own cases appeals, postpone and decline cases by directly communicating to distribution channels on the rationale and any other option that can be explored.
