Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Review and evaluate insurance proposals to assess coverage requirements and underwriting feasibility.
- Analyze background information, exposure details, and risk assessments to support underwriting decisions.
- Provide timely and adequate support to Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) and clients on underwriting matters, quotations, and policy terms.
- Negotiate policy terms, conditions, pricing, and rates with insurance companies to secure competitive and suitable coverage solutions.
- Coordinate and process policy issuance and ensure accurate booking of policies within agreed timelines.
- Ensure all underwriting activities are carried out with proper due diligence and in compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and insurer guidelines.
