Underwriter: commercial & domestic

Our client, a reputable broker in the East Rand, is seeking an experienced Underwriter to manage both Commercial and Domestic portfolios. If you are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrive in a dynamic brokerage environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities Assess and underwrite Commercial and Domestic insurance risks in accordance with company guidelines. Develop, maintain, and grow client and broker relationships. Provide quality service to clients, addressing their needs promptly and professionally. Ensure all underwriting documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards. Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Minimum 5 years’ underwriting experience (Commercial & Domestic) within a broker environment. Full FAIS accreditation RE 5 certification Class of Business: Commercial Class of Business: Personal Lines Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
