Job Description
Join Agnico Eagle as an Underground Geology Superintendent for the Detour Lake Mine. Facilitate geological excellence with your expertise in underground mining and resource extraction.
As Geology Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading the geology department in planning and managing operations at Detour Lake Mine. Your role will focus on improving efficiency, overseeing budgeting processes, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Geology, at least 8-10 years of relevant experience, and expertise in NI-43-101 qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct geology team with a focus on efficiency
• Collaborate on drilling and geological programs
• Manage budgeting processes and follow-up
• Report geology activities on a regular basis
• Support technical studies and reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Geology or Geological Engineering
