Job Description
Become the UBC Indigenous Programs Manager, leading vital initiatives that promote Indigenous education and language revitalization. This role emphasizes strategic operations and community outreach to effect lasting change.
As part of the Indigenous Studies Program at UBC, you will engage in high-level strategic leadership. The position requires overseeing the implementation of the Indigenous Strategic Plan, managing curriculum changes, and fostering community partnerships. You will create and execute policies, coordinate logistics, and manage budgets related to Indigenous language fluency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop policies for Indigenous language fluency degrees
• Manage logistics and scheduling of teaching programs
• Supervise Community Liaison and Instructional Coordinators
• Build partnerships with Indigenous communities and stakeholders
• Create strategic plans to achieve INDG program goals
