- Grade 12 (Matric), N4, or equivalent
- Qualified Artisan with a Trade Test
- Minimum 7 years' machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating universal horizontal lathes, vertical lathes, and horizontal boring mills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience machining hydraulic components to specification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
