Travel and Transportation Specialist

Summary This position is in the International Services (IS) Travel Services Branch (TSB) and is responsible for interpreting the Federal and Agriculture Travel Regulations, and for the coordination and development of all related policies and guidance for the Marketing and Regulatory Programs (MRP). Responsibilities The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Interprets regulations, laws, policies, procedures, and other information applicable to travel management. Provides training and assistance to program staff, field officials, and others on travel requirements and administration processes. Informs program officials of new or revised MRP, departmental, and government-wide travel policies, and procedures.
