Trauma-Informed Counselor for Women in Corrections

Department of Corrections NZ in Auckland is seeking a qualified counsellor to assess trauma needs and develop tailored treatment plans for women in our care.

You will engage individuals in their treatment, make referrals to relevant groups and agencies, and provide support to prison staff in managing trauma-related needs and behaviours, with a strong emphasis on culturally appropriate care for Māori women.
