TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT

Summary You will serve as a TRASNPORTATION ASSISTANT in the G-4 LOGISTICS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO. Responsibilities You will schedule appointments over the phone, via email, or on a walk-in basis and review shipment requests, interpret orders, and process applications in accordance with travel orders. You will interpret Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders to determine authorized entitlements and weight allowances. You will provide entitlement briefs to service members retiring, separating, and PCSing CONUS and OCONUS. You will compose correspondence pertaining to household goods shipments and storage. You will serve as a Transportation Agent for the Transportation Officer by signing routine correspondence.
