Transplant Surgeon

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in solid organ transplant procedures (as per specialty and scope of practice)
• Evaluate and manage transplant candidates pre‑operatively
• Provide comprehensive post‑operative care and long‑term follow‑up for transplant recipients
• Participate in organ procurement and donor management processes
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary transplant teams, including hepatology, nephrology, ICU, anesthesia, and nursing
• Ensure adherence to national transplant regulations, ethical standards, and hospital policies
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome reporting
• Participate in on‑call rotas as required
