Trainee Planner

Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing, and Maintenance. ​We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland. As part of our 2026 Trainee Recruitment intake we are looking to recruit a Trainee Planner. Role & Responsibilites: Assist in Creating Tender Programmes and Schedules: Learn to use tools like Microsoft Project and/or Asta to support the creation of tender programmes and project schedules, with supervision and training. Maintain and Process Team Information: Help collect, organise, and manage information from team members, ensuring it follows a controlled process, under the mentorship of senior staff. Monitor Project Progress: Assist in tracking the progress of live sites and pre-construction phases by updating logs, attending meetings, and learning to use progress evaluation tools.
