An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner in General Surgery, based at Furness General Hospital. The successful applicant will be required to complete the ACP course at a local University at master’s level.

The post holder will be required to travel between all three hospital sites within University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust, including Kendal, Lancaster and Barrow-in-Furness.

The role blends direct, higher level clinical care with education and management activities, with a focus on Governance. The post holder is expected to build working relationships across the local health community and to initiate, sustain and evaluate change.
