We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. The role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in investment or financial services. As a Trainee Accountant, you will assist in the preparation and review of financial reports and statements for investment companies, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Specifically, you will:
- Assist with the daily, weekly, and monthly accounting including bookkeeping, assistance in the preparation of accounting reports and Annual Accounts.
- Support the production of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for assigned entities.
- Reconcile fund cash, assets, investment and share capital positions records.
- Maintain fund accounting records in accordance with internal controls and procedures.
- Work with senior accountants and corporate administrators to resolve discrepancies.
