The purpose of this position is to improve safety and access for all modes of transportation by managing and monitoring traffic via traffic cameras and other technologies from the city's Traffic Management Center (TMC). TMC Operators are responsible for the monitoring of roadway traffic, including traffic-related incidents and special event traffic.

The ideal candidate is a technically skilled and highly attentive professional who can confidently monitor live traffic conditions and respond quickly using Intelligent Transportation Systems. This person excels at interpreting real-time information, coordinating with internal departments and regional partners, and communicating clearly during incidents, special events, or congestion.
