TOOLS AND PARTS ATTENDANT

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Hobby Shop located on Grand Forks AFB, ND. Intermittent - This is an Intermittent/Flexible position. Incumbent can be scheduled 0-40 hours. This position does not include benefits. Responsibilities 1.Issues, receives and schedules use of equipment, tools and repair/paint stalls for patrons. Uses chit or other parts assignment system for accountability of assigned tools. Determines type of repair job involved and suggests a variety of tools needed to accomplish the repair. Provides instructions to customers on cleaning processes, soiled rag disposal, sweeping and cleanup of repair or pit stall and removal of excess automotive parts. Ensures tools turned-in are clean, assesses breakage or damage if any; charging customer for tools according to prescribed price listing.
