Toolmaker, West Bromwich, to £19 per hour My client manufactures metal pressings and assemblies for a wide range of customers. They are looking to expand their team and wish to recruit a proven and experienced Toolmaker. Responsible for repairing and maintaining press tools and welding jigs and fixtures and assisting in solving production problems in the press shop. You must be reliable and a good timekeeper, as the role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the production department. You will be expected to comply with the Companies Health and Safety procedures and report any Health and Safety issues to the Toolroom Team Leader. Able to work on their own and be able to use their own initiative. Able to repair and maintain press tools from 45- ton to 400-ton single operation and progression tools.
