Tool Room Servicing Operator

Howdens are currently seeking an experienced Tool Room Servicing Operator to join our team at our manufacturing site in Howden, East Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the service, repair, and manufacture of in‑house tooling, supporting our production operations with precision and expertise. If you have a background as a machine operator or servicing operator with tooling knowledge, we are keen to hear from you.

Shift | 6am to 4:30pm Monday to Wednesday, 6am to 4pm Thursday. OT required as and when necessary

Salary | £51,085.84 per annum

Responsibilities

• Sharpening and manufacturing PCD tooling using Vollmer EDM machines
• Sharpening carbide circular saws using Vollmer Saw machines
• Cylindrical grinding and surface grinding both in‑house and purchased tooling
• Sharpen tooling using tool and cutter grinders
• Assembling components and interpreting technical working drawings accurately
