Tool & Die Maker - 3rd year Apprentice

Omex Manufacturing, ULC located in Stratford, Ontario , produces automotive parts for several major manufacturers, and our product portfolio includes a wide array of stamped, welded, and assembled components.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The 3rd year Apprentice Tool & Die Maker will work closely with the Toolroom Supervisor and the production team to support on-going production requirements at Omex Manufacturing ULC. The successful apprentice will expand their knowledge to run machinery and equipment in the tool room and observe and/or assist the tool and die makers in troubleshooting, sharpening, maintenance, and modifying dies.

• Stamping die maintenance including, but not limited to sharpening, polishing, welding, replacing broken and worn parts and components.
