Job Description
Skretting Aquaculture Innovation is currently seeking two on-call substitute/tilkallingsvikar focused on Biotechnology to support our fast growing global aqua feed business. This is a 20% position for 6 months, with start-date .
In this role, you will be a key player in implementing methodologies and further extend the scope of techniques used in-house. Most of the work will take place in our innovative and radical research centre, the Skretting Bubble located in Hillevåg.
**On call substitute /**Tilkallingsvikar for Histology**
- Prepare and sort samples for histology analyses
- Scanning of slides
- Image analysis
**On call substitute / Tilkallingsvikar for Gene expression**
- Prepare biological samples for RNA/DNA extraction, including sample organization, dissection, and preparation for automated isolation.
- Perform real-time PCR analyses, requiring accurate pipetting of small volumes.
- Conduct basic data analysis and assist in interpreting results.
