Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech
This position involves performing sleep studies and providing patient care in a sleep lab setting. The caregiver will work a night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00. The caregiver will be required to work Fridays, with shifts extending into Saturday mornings. Flexibility with scheduling is required, as block schedules will be implemented. The caregiver will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 2:1 during night shifts. Weekend shifts are mandatory, but there is no on-call requirement. The caregiver will not be responsible for shifts on Saturday or Sunday nights. Experience in charting with the Epic system is required. The patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics. The expected duties include monitoring respiratory events and conducting various sleep tests.
