Job Description
The Aircraft Mechanic 3 (AH64) “Production Control” performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance functions including assembly and modification on the assigned aircraft (AH64), their major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and related systems.
Perform the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance.
Install, connect, and adjust complete systems such as fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission: install and align fuselage parts; balances, aligns, and installs tail rotor assemblies; rig complete flight control systems.
Monitor aircraft flight hours, cycles, and component time-change requirements, initiating scheduled maintenance actions before limits are reached.
Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly aircraft readiness reports (, AMSS/GCSS-Army reports) to higher headquarters in compliance with regulatory timelines.
