Typical Day in Role:
Perform end-to-end QA and data validation for Banking and Capital Calculations regulatory reporting systems Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency for Basel III and OSFI regulatory reports including BCAR, NCR, Pillar III and LRR Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex financial and regulatory datasets Perform data-level QA using complex SQL queries to validate source-to-target mappings and calculations Collaborate with business analysts, regulatory SMEs, data engineers, and developers to understand regulatory logic and testing requirements Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring regulatory compliance Participate in regulatory audits, reviews, and validation exercises Automate regression and data validation tests using Python-based frameworks (where applicable) Leverage automation tools and GitHub Copilot to improve QA productivity and coverage Ensure alignment with data governanc...
