Job Description
The Test Engineer is responsible for performing acceptance testing and reporting on electrical units in line with quality procedures and engineering requirements. This is a hands on technical role at the forefront of testing innovation within Hayward Tyler, supporting both current operations and future capability. You will work closely with Electrical, Hydraulic, Quality and Production teams to ensure that test plans, quality standards and safety requirements are fully met.
What you will do:
Testing & Technical Delivery
- Perform acceptance testing on large scale induction motors up to 13.8kV and 3.2MW.
- Accurately monitor, record and report test data in line with defined test plans and engineering standards.
- Ensure test reports are completed and logged within engineering systems within 24 hours of test completion.
- Investigate and support the development of test data acquisition and control systems.
