Technician - Mechanical (Maintenance) - UAE

Responsibilities

• Tackles all mechanical equipment breakdowns and planned preventive predictive maintenance work with minimum direction and supervision while minimizing production downtime.
• Technically assesses the requirements of allocated jobs and selects the necessary tools and equipment to complete the work.
• Ensures that all maintenance work is carried out safely and in accordance with plant operational requirements.
• Uses the computerized maintenance system SAP to order spare parts from the warehouse and maintains records of all maintenance work completed.
• Monitors repeated breakdowns and recommends proper modification to resolve the problem.
• Identifies and reports abnormalities, initiates repair, replacement tests, and assembles worn out or failed components.
• Reports to supervisor and takes necessary action to overhaul or replace parts, leaving the working area clean.
