Technical Supervisor - Amaro Foods (Flatbread) / Cape Town

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to join the technical team at Amaro Foods in Flatbread, Killarney Gardens.

Purpose

To co-ordinate a team of hygiene operators, during cleaning activities; to maintain the site according to customer and legal requirements.

Key Performance Outputs

• Proactively manage quality and food safety systems throughout the factory, through adherence to the QFS system policies and procedures.
• Participate in external 3rd party/ customer audits as required.
• Implementing site internal audit schedule, conducting process/QAS audits and internal inspections in alignment to food safety system requirements.
• Promote a culture of quality & food safety on the factory floor through awareness programs.
• Participate in problem solving/root cause analysis regarding quality deviations in the production process.
