Job Description
Our client is seeking a Technical Assistant to join the Newton Park team,
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with installation, servicing, and repair of equipment and machinery
- Prepare tools, materials, and equipment required for technical work
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with OHS standards
- Record maintenance work completed and report technical issues to supervisors
- Assist with breakdown support and emergency repairs when required
- Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Support stock control of spare parts and tools
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Technical certificate or vocational training (mechanical, electrical, or related field) – advantageous
- 1–3 years’ experience in a technical, maintenance, or assistant role
