Teaching Assistants/ Support Staff- Wigan 

Milk Education is currently working with Primary Schools throughout the Wigan area who are seeking to appoint long-term and day-to-day Teaching Assistants/ Support Staff for positions to start in September 2026! 

We are looking for people who have previous experience working with children in a school or child care setting. This employment or volunteering experience can be within the past 2 years and can include Nurseries, Youth Centers or working as a Support Worker with SEND Adults or Children.

The role includes supporting the class teacher in the day-to-day running of the classroom. This will also include working with groups of children and working with SEND Children on a one-to-one basis. The ideal applicant must be passionate, engaging, empathetic and supportive whilst using their initiative on a daily basis.
