Teaching Assistants - High School

The Katherine Thomas High School Program, in Rockville, MD, serves students in grades 9-12 with language and learning challenges, autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or other health impairments. KTHS has an opportunity for a few Special Education High School Teaching Assistants (TA) beginning with the current school year. Hourly Rate of $19- $24/hour, DOE

Teaching Assistant position responsibilities include:


+ Assist teachers in implementing content area curricula

+ Guide and assist students in the classroom in following the teacher’s instruction and school/program rules

+ Provide necessary accommodations to meet individual, group, and program needs

+ Create a supportive learning environment
